The owner of this property works in the high-end hair extension industry and is exposed to a lot of colorful environments. During the early stages of the design process, they expressed their desire for a colorless, simple and neutral interior design. This was to combat visual fatigue and release physical and mental stress. To achieve this, the designer used a gray color as the main theme of the space and avoided the traditional right angle design. Instead, they used organic arcs to outline the space. This created a neutral and astringent atmosphere, eliminating any sharpness or oppression. As a result, the residents can now enjoy a comfortable, relaxing, quiet and beautiful living experience.

The designer begins the design process by adopting a human-centric approach, where the focus is on designing an open layout that provides ample public space. This creates a comfortable and spacious living area, while also ensuring the smooth flow of movement throughout the space.

To take advantage of the home's single-sided lighting condition, the designer has meticulously planned the living room, dining room, and kitchen to be on the same axis. This strategic placement allows natural light to filter through the space without any obstructions, spreading an even glow across the entire area. The result is a bright and welcoming atmosphere that makes the most of the home's unique features.

The residents' storage needs were a top priority for the designer, and they were able to cleverly combine it with the homeowner's preference for minimalist style. The dusty area and living room have an abundance of cabinets that are not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing. The wall decoration is designed with the seam technique that creates a sequential visual effect that adds depth and texture to the space. The cabinets are cleverly hidden within this wall decoration, allowing them to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the space. The space is planned with a simple tone and pure material configuration, which is enhanced by the use of a special gray tone paint that creates an oblong smear.
