The 2024 Hsinchu City Glass Art Festival took the theme of "Splendid and Exquisite Like Crystal" to present the crystal-clarity and colorful-hue of glass and the artist's pursuit of perfection, returning to craftsmanship for aesthetic transmission.
The International Glass Craft Exchange Exhibition was curated by Professor Ming-Twen Shiau from the Department of Art and Design NTHU, exhibited at Wind livehouse and The Glass Museum of Hsinchu City. The exhibition brought together domestic and foreign craft works and divided them into six major themes based on the characteristics of Void, Entity, Addition, Subtraction, Fluidity, Diversity. The space adopted the flow of glass as the concept and creates the possibility of mutual dialogue among the works via open visual design. 
The Glass Museum of Hsinchu City also displayed the winning works of Hsinchu City Golden Glass Award Competition. While experiencing profound technology, viewers can also get a glimpse of new types of creativity. In addition, National Tsing Hua University, Hsuan Chuang University and Yuanpei University of Medical Technology also held glass art exhibitions simultaneously as parts of the satellite exhibition areas of ​​the 2024 Hsinchu City Glass Art Festival. Teachers and students paticipating in this grand event also presented diverse and alternate aspects of thinking and technology to explore further possibility for glass art and craft.
During the event, there were glass demonstration performances, workshops, lectures, and holiday markets, all coming together to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that made it an event not to be missed.
